SCHENECTADY – Jeffrey A. Peek, 49, entered peacefully into eternal rest at his home on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Jeff was born in Schenectady on March 1, 1967 a son of George and Linda (VanBuren) Peek. He graduated from Linton High School, class of 1986. Jeff with his love for people, made his career in retail. He worked for Famous Footwear in Rotterdam and most recently at the Crossgates Mall.
Jeff was kind, generous and made friends with whomever he met.
He is survived by his parents, Linda Peek and her boyfriend Phil Kilburn and George C. Peek, Jr., brothers, Keith (Stacey) Peek, George M. Peek, Jerry 'Chuck' (Claudine) Peek, an aunt, Kate VanBuren; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Justin) Morgan, Alex, Cody and Logan Peek; great-nieces, Ryleigh and Ashlyn Morgan; a sister-in-law, Karen Peek, and the late Candie Peek; best friends, Crystal Bailey and her daughter Brittany and his store manager, Michele Lundgren. Jeff is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm.
